Associate/Senior Associate Global Loans (Fund Finance)

Our client’s global loans/banking practice is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate with experience in fund finance. Experience in subscription finance, net asset value and other fund finance facilities would also be helpful but is not a prerequisite. There will also be times when you might support other parts of the global loans team (e.g., corporate lending or acquisition finance but the core focus will be fund finance).

The Fund Finance practice advise both lenders and borrowers on transactions including:

Subscription finance/capital call facilities

NAV (Net Asset Value) facilities

Facilities for SMA's and hybrid financing

GP Co-Invest facilities

Hybrid facilities

Equity-commitment-backed financings

You can expect to have exposure to a wide range of high-quality transactions.

Essential skills and experience:

Qualified mid to senior-level Banking lawyer with experience in a major law firm

Strong general banking experience ideally including fund finance

Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents and agreements in a private practice environment

An adaptable individual who is a fast learner, with experience practising in multiple jurisdictions.
