Fund/Corporate In-House Legal Counsel - Investment Manager

Our client is a leading global investment management firm, operating systematic and quant strategies. We are looking for an excellent junior funds/corporate lawyer to join their high-performing team. The role will be varied and will cover a range of funds and investment work. The team operate collaboratively and non-hierarchically. You will assist in drafting and reviewing IMA's and funds docs. Assisting with investor relations, onboarding new investors, and dealing with investor queries and many other ad hoc fund-related matters.

Essential skills and experience:

Qualified NQ-2 PQE lawyer with experience from a major law firm.

Strong general funds or corporate experience.

Experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents and agreements in a private practice environment.

A good communicator who is an adaptable individual and a fast learner.
