An excellent opportunity to join an alternative investment fund that has more than doubled its AUM in the last 3 years. Having been in operation for over ten years this fund manager offers a steady platform in what has (for some) been a volatile market.

As head of legal and compliance, you will report directly into the partners and be afforded a great deal of autonomy. You will need to be comfortable operating at a high level, as well as rolling your sleeves up and getting on with the day to day. 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Negotiation of legal documentation surrounding structured investments and managed accounts;
• side letters;
• IMA’s;
• regulatory legislation;
• compliance (consultants are utilised);
• co-sec duties; and
• managing external counsel.

You will have at least 6 years of post-qualification experience gained either at an AIFM or a highly regarded law firm IM and/or transactional practice team.
