This quantitative power house are seeking a contract negotiator for newly created post. In the future, this hire will ultimately be the head of their contract negotiation team.

With 600/700 contracts to manage per year, they are keen to create a team that focuses on managing the contracts with their multiple data vendors. The data being sold could be anything from credit card, medical, or the volume of ships docking at a port on any given day. In essence, if it is deemed valuable by the quantitative team, the legal team will need to negotiate and agree contacts.

This is a big area of business, and so needs a highly capable individual with prior experience of contract negotiation in the quantitative sector. There will always be IT and/or data protection issues with these vendors and so given the volume, this hire will need to be able to hit the ground running .
